"To start our visit, the woman at the booth where we purchased our tickets was so warm and friendly. She made us feel very glad to be there. The woman at the visitor center did the same and was very helpful in helping us decide how to get the most out of our time as 5 pm was going to come all too soon. We were surprised we could visit with the folks of 1896. This made our visit interesting as everyone would answer our questions and offered many other interesting facts. We loved the authenticity of buildings, down to the streets, sidewalks and yards, as it made us feel like we were part of that era. The Pawnee Earth Lodge was amazing and Mr. Johnston made it so interesting. He is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking with the greeter at the Fonner Rotunda. The exhibits were most interesting also. There was nothing we were dissatisfied with, even the weather was perfect. You could not have been more hospitable. We needed more time to enjoy all that was offered. Gosh, we will just need to return! We had a beautiful day in Railroad Town and the surrounding area. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the part they played in helping us to have a better understanding of that time frame. Overall we had a wonderful visit. We would recommend Stuhr Museum to anyone looking for a place to go if they were looking to experience pioneer living and a great history lesson!"
