Town Hall
Built in 1884. It was known as "Washington Township Hall," located at the northwest corner of today's South Locust Street and Stolley Park Road in Grand Island. It served as a voting headquarters.

The first day of April 1890. an annual meeting was helt of said town and on said dait, members were all present and the following business transacted, that a tax be levied on all taxable property in the township as follows; Road Fund. Two (2) Mills. Bridge Fund. Two. (2) Mills. General Fund (2) Mills: in all Six Mills (6). This motion was made by Mr. Stolley and seconded by Mr. Geise.
On motion of Mr. Stolley and seconded by Mr. Bock, It was voted that a Town hall be built, not to exceed in cost $600.00 Six Hundred Doll. and that the contracted building such town hall shall accept the sum of $300.00 three Hundred in Cash and a Noat for the
Ballance due owe year after date, of acceptance of said Town hall by the Township board: said noat to draw interest at the rate of 7 per cent.
