There's no better way to kick off the 2018 season at Stuhr than with our annual Visitor Appreciation Day where everyone is admitted during the day free of charge. This year's Visitor Appreciation Day runs from 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday, May 5th.
During Visitor Appreciation Day we encourage everyone to enjoy a robust day of activity at the museum. From Railroad Town and it's many activities and sites to the Stuhr Building to the Hornady Family Arbor to the Farm Machinery Building, you can easily spend hours exploring Stuhr's many exhibits. The event will also include an outdoor movie later in the evening. Admission will be charged and the movie will be announced shortly.
Events during Visitor Appreciation Day include:
-Railroad Town, opening at 10 am, which includes costumed interpreters, historic homes, businesses and plenty to explore and enjoy
-The Hall County Student Art Show will be on exhibit in the Stuhr Building
-The Antique Farm Machinery Building and Fonner Rotunda will be open for viewing
-The rural farmstead, church and several other areas will be open for viewing
