Stuhr Museum offers two different shops
where you can find many delightful and unique items!

Prairie Treasures Gift Shop

Located just inside the front entrance of the Stuhr Building, Prairie Treasures offers a wide selection and fascinating variety. The shop carries over 600 books that describe every aspect of late 19th-century prairie life. Prairie Treasures is open year-round from 9-5 Monday through Saturday, 12-5 Sundays.

The Mercantile

Located in the business district of our re-created 1890s Railroad Town, the sundries and other items in this general store are carefully chosen for their historical value. The Mercantile is open during the summer season (May 1-Sept. 30) from 10 am - 5 pm (12 - 5 pm Sundays), and on All Hallows Evenings and at Christmas Past & Present.
