GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - Dust off your tiara and lace up your fancy shoes as the frilly fun of Stuhr Museum's "Prairie Princess Party" returns Saturday, Feb. 7 from 1-3 p.m. This event, which has grown the past few years, is a great chance for princesses of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of treats, special activities, games and fun.
The party, which takes place in the elegant Stuhr Building, will include:
A Magic Tea Room (complete with cakes and cookies)
Crafts
Make Your Own Tiara
Fan making
Storytelling by local celebrities
Photo opportunities with Ms. Nebraska 2008 Gretchen Bergquist
Dance Classes provided by the Heartland School of Dance
The Stuhr Building will also be decked out like you've never seen it, with frilly decorations around every corner.
Dressing up is encouraged! Visiting Princes & Princesses must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children, with Stuhr Museum members admitted free. For more information, call (308) 385-5316.
