Prairie Treasure Gift Shop To Re-Open Bigger and Better!

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - The Prairie Treasures Gift Shop inside Stuhr Museum will completely re-design its look and re-stock its shelves for a new grand re-opening event scheduled for Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. The gift shop will be closed on September 30th and October 1 to prepare for the re-opening.

For years, the Prairie Treasures Gift Shop has been much more than Stuhr Museum souvenirs. The location made a name for itself as a merchant of Nebraska-made products, books on Nebraska history and art created by local, regional and national artisans. The new Prairie Treasures will keep much of what made the store popular, while growing their emphasis on unique gift items and historical gifts. Much of what will be carried at the gift shop will not be available anywhere else in the area.

The Prairie Treasures Gift Shop has always been open to the public, and one need not purchase admission to Stuhr Museum to shop. The special open house for Prairie Treasures will take place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. During this event, a large gift basket of Nebraska-made food items will be given away to one lucky winner, and refreshments will be served.
