The Wall Street Journal says Stuhr Museum is one of the top ten places in the nation to spend your 4th of July! Come celebrate before heading off to the fireworks with an "Old-Fashioned Fourth of July" -- a day of family fun at Stuhr Museum!

Special events for the day are as follows:

10 am - German Language Church Service, Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (south grounds of the Museum), officiated by Pastor Walter Rowaldt of Lincoln and featuring the German Choir from the Liederkranz. Printed English translations will be provided, and coffee, lemonade and cookies will be served following the service. Sponsored by the Hall County Historical Society.
12-5 pm - Wagon rides through Railroad Town $1
2 pm - "Mammoth" parade down Front Street
Following Parade - Patriotic concert by the Railroad Town Silver Cornet Band
Following Concert - Patriotic Programme at the Gazebo
Following Patriotic Programme - Cherry Pie Eating Contest (Pies thanks to Perkins!) at the Depot and Kids Games on the green just south of the Depot.

5-6 pm - Birthday Cake in the Arboretum!
6 pm - Museum Closes. Go enjoy the fireworks at Fonner Park!
