Glide along with
Stuhr Museum Foundation May 4th
Lace up your skates and glide along with the Stuhr Museum Foundation in support of Go Big GIVE Thursday, May 4th as we Skate into Success to enhance the visitor experience of our Glaciarium (glay-sheer-ee-um)! While the first ice-skating rink featuring an artificial floor, also called the Glaciarium, opened in London back in 1841, Stuhr’s rink opened for business 180 years later, and the fun’s just begun.
Your donation through Go Big GIVE designated to Stuhr during the month of April and online during the 24-hour digital event May 4, will help us earn extra dividends through match-pool funds and incentive prizes. These bonus dollars will greatly expand visitor experience through phased additions to the Glaciarium:
This popular attraction offers individuals, groups, and families a cure for cabin fever while experiencing historically accurate recreation during the winter months. This year, the Foundation has the opportunity to fund necessary next phase improvements to the Glaciarium to ensure that the young and young-at-heart can skate into history by enjoying one of Hall County’s favorite pastimes at Stuhr Museum.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
With gratitude,
