Hall County Appreciation Day

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - Over 1,100 people attended Stuhr Museum's annual "thank you" to Hall County on Saturday, May 15th.

Hall County and Visitor Appreciation Day is the only day of the year where Stuhr Museum opens the gates to one and all, free of charge, as a way of thanking our supporters for another wonderful year. Railroad Town was in full swing, the "Animals That Shaped The Plains" exhibit was up and many used the grounds as a spot for a picnic, a stroll and other recreation.

The day kicked off when more than 80 walkers from the county and the surrounding area used the grounds for a 5K walk. From there, the afternoon was very busy as the public took advantage of a beautiful day, and a free trip to the museum.

Keep an eye out for the next Hall County and Visitor Appreciation Day and thank you for your support of Stuhr Museum.
