What
do you do when the air turns crisp and the sun sets earlier each
day? Why, you plan to bring the kids out to Stuhr Museum for a fun-filled 7th annual All-Hallows
Eve! This safe, fun-filled Halloween event in Railroad Town re-creates the 19th-century atmosphere of this popular fall children's holiday.

Start your spooktacular visit with a modern-day stroll through the lamp-lit Hornady Family Arbor's Treat Trail to Trick or Treat and play games with the many local businesses and organizations who have set up Halloween booths for you to enjoy on your way to Railroad Town.
As
you move into Railroad Town, it is 1897. Look for the jack-o-lanterns to find
areas of activity.
Stop at the Milisen House and participate in popular 19th-century
parlor games.
Be
sure to pay close attention to your surroundings! See if you
can spot all the tomfoolery that has been caused throughout town,
and be sure to report any strange activity to Marshal Watson or
his deputies.
Do you enjoy spooky stories? Stop at the Town Hall
for ghost stories read by local townfolk.
They will accommodate all those who crave having the wits scared out
of them.
Stroll down Depot Street and look for the wagon for you to ride for just a dollar per person!
The
Depot will once again be the site of the ever popular apple and
doughnut ducking! Test your skill at biting into a juicy apple
or a tender doughnut as it is suspended from a string and you hold
your hands behind your back!
Don't forget to head to the Spooky Mill. The ghosts, goblins, and even a Mad Scientist have taken over the Glade Flour Mill and Yard and it's sure to be a haunted visit for all.
The
Mercantile will offer a unique shopping experience, or enjoy
the evening with tempting treats at the Silver Dollar. Come
on out and have a safe and fun family evening. Ghosts? We've heard
that others before you have seen a ghost or two in town this time
of year. Perhaps this year, so will you!
