GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - To celebrate the 2010 Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island, Stuhr Museum is expanding and adding onto our popular annual "1890's Agricultural Fair" with new displays activities, expanded hours and more activity than ever before.

By offering an authentic 1890's fair, the hope is visitors can compare and contrast with the Nebraska State Fair, and get a good idea of how our pioneer ancestors celebrated and spent time together as a community.

Whether you've attended dozens of events in our 1890's Railroad Town or never visited our Living History Community before, the "1890's Agricultural Fair" is a chance to see Railroad Town at the height of excitement. The residents have been gardening, canning, and planning all year for this event and you are invited to partake in the fun of the biggest social event of the year.
