Tom Dinsdale Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Hyundai BMW of Grand Island Donates Truck to Stuhr Museum

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - Christmas came early this year for Stuhr Museum!

Tom Dinsdale Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Hyundai BMW of Grand Island donated a 2009 Chevrolet three-quarter-ton pickup truck to Stuhr Museum. The truck will be used by the museum’s maintenance department to care for the museum’s more than 200 acres, to transport donated artifacts and to act as a reliable long-range maintenance vehicle.

The keys to the truck were handed over during a ceremony on Thursday, December 16 at the Dinsdale dealership. Stuhr Museum Executive Director Joe Black and Foundation Director Pam Price were on hand to receive the donation from Tom Dinsdale himself.

The Dinsdale dealership has generously donated to the museum before, giving a BMW convertible in 2004 for the museum’s “Stuhr Crazy About A BMW” car raffle, and a John Deere Gator for grounds maintenance. Tom Dinsdale has generously donated to the museum in the past by serving in the past on both the Stuhr Museum Operating and Foundation Boards. His wife, Kim, is currently serving on the museum’s Operating Board and is chair of the Buildings and Grounds committee and knows first-hand the benefits this donation will bring to the museum.

The truck will bear the logos of both Stuhr Museum and Dinsdale Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Hyundai BMW of Grand Island and will be instantly recognizable when around the community. The museum sincerely thanks the Dinsdale dealership for its generous donation which will be put to good use as soon as it’s on the museum grounds.
